CROSSING THE FINISH LINE 
After almost three years, several missteps, and financial setbacks, we are heading towards the finish line to the opening of the community Learning Center. We need just one more fundraiser to complete the last items on our to-do list.
The fundraising goal is $10,000. When we reach that goal, we have a commitment from a most generous donor to match that amount, allowing us to have $20,000 to complete the final to-do list and cross the finish line.

Hello, Neighbors!
We’ve got exciting news! The vision of our Eden Gardens Community Association leaders to provide a resource and safe haven for our community is close to becoming a reality. The Eden Gardens Learning Center is almost ready.
Since 2022, good people in and around Detroit have helped us raise more than $300,000 and worked long and hard with us to bring the dilapidated house on Glenfield Avenue back to life to serve our community and its people. And now, we want you to help us put the finishing touches on it!
Join us Saturday, May 17 at 9 a.m. for a PAINT PARTY at Eden Gardens’ new Learning Center, 12261 Glenfield Avenue, Detroit. We welcome volunteers from near and far to roll up their sleeves with us to paint the rooms and baseboards inside the Center. Each room on both floors is primed and ready for you to breathe life back into them with color and by your loving hands.
Watch this short before and after video to see how far the Eden Gardens Learning Center has come. Then ask your friends to join us in Detroit for our Paint Party to add the finishing touches at 12261 Glenfield Avenue, 9 a.m. Saturday, May 17.
Do you have extra paint brushes and rollers to share? We’d appreciate you bringing them to the party!
